The first-ever Trans Pride Exeter is happening on Saturday, October 4th!
We will gather at 11:30 am in Dixs Field to kick off our march through the town centre. We will make a stop at Bedford Square at 12:30 pm for inspiring speeches and performances. We warmly welcome all individuals and groups (with the exception of political parties - members are welcome to attend but not under party banners) who are passionate about advocating for trans, intersex, and non-binary rights!
The march will then continue on to St Sidwell’s Centre, where there will be community afternoon. Enjoy an art market featuring talented trans, non-binary, and intersex artists and crafters, along with a café, short films, workshops and live music!

Get writing flash fiction in our creative writing workshop with author Viktor Athelstan. Discover an alternative to cyanotyping with Dimitrios Theodoraki and create beautiful rainbow prints. Dive into the world non-binary and trans poetry with Casey Garfield. Polish up your letter writing for activism skills with Algenon Rees. Full details of the workshops including how to book ( which we recommend as spaces will be limited) can be found here.
Join us for the screening of “Dear Wes...,” a poignant two-part short film by TransActual that delves into the personal impacts of being transgender in the UK. We will also debut a new short film from Exeter Pride, which showcases the experiences of trans and non-binary individuals involved in the 15 Years of Exeter Pride heritage project. For further details about the films and viewing times can be found here.
Take a stroll through our art market, featuring the incredible work of talented trans, non-binary, and intersex artists and makers (including our amazing Trans Pride Exeter merch!). If you’re looking for a moment of tranquility, feel free to unwind in our chill-out space.
